The mission of the Seminole Wars Foundation, Inc. is to preserve significant sites involved in the Seminole Wars, establish educational programs to teach the significance of the wars, and to publish pertinent material relating to the conflicts. The Foundation has been instrumental in the preservation of the Camp Izard Battlefield site, the Ft. Dade site, and the site of Ft. King in Ocala. To further our mission of public education, the Foundation has published seven books and numerous educational and reference pamphlets.

The Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum of the Seminole Tribe of Florida is dedicated to the preservation of the rich cultural heritage of the Seminole People of Florida. The 5,000 sq. ft. museum is located on the Big Cypress Reservation in the Everglades, and includes a book store, research center, and 1.5 mile nature trail, leading to a traditional Seminole village.
